While not perfect, Unavowed is still a unique and excellent adventure game - a game that's not to be missed. Technically, Unavowed is still a point-and-click adventure, although with some very welcome streamlining to the interface - some changes so simple that one wonders why didn't they occur to someone, like 20 years ago. well, not bad by any means, only somewhat less exciting. It is interesting that in some aspects the game even exceeded these, and in others it proved to be. While Wadjet Eye Games continued publishing (rather good) point-and-click adventures after the climactic Blackwell Epiphany, Unavowed was the first new game by Dave Gilbert, hence I had rather high expectations.
